Be an early riser
So much happens
While so many sleep
Don’t miss the wonder of another day
For a few minutes
extra slumber
Keep a journal
Start with an affirmation
I’m alive
life is good
Take a brisk walk
Bring a friend if possible
Canine preferred
Bring a camera
Don’t set an agenda
Don’t feel the need to speak
Unless you have something to say
Keep your eyes peeled
Attention may reveal
Money lying on the ground
It has for me
More than once
Keep your life simple
There is nothing to be gained
Wasting energy
And yes
less is more
More often than not
Try and make someone laugh
At least once a day
Anyone
Even yourself
Write, write, write Right?
Read, read, read
Not a new thought
or mine
But I try and pass it along
Whenever I can
Especially to young people
Of all ages
Take someone fishing
Whenever possible
Best if they've never been before
And if you catch a big one
Throw it back
The look on other fishermen’s faces can
